Fly Alaska Lodge is located far from civilization, in the middle of Wrangell St. Elias National Park. On Saturday we will pick you up personally in Chitina or Mc Carthy by plane (Cessna 172 or Pilatus Porter Turbine) and fly you to the lodge. Once there, you will move into one of the three guest yurts. With a welcome drink we will start getting to know the Lodge and its surroundings.

During your stay you will discover the beauty of Alaskas Wild. From our airplanes you can see the beauty of this untouched nature from above. Our destinations are as remote as they are beautiful. Roads? No way. The next paved road is 70 miles away! Nature rules here.

Where we land we walk on unspoiled beaches, fish in mountain lakes, have picnics next to wild rivers, discover the beauty of the tundra or venture onto a glacier. Also enjoy cultural and historical sightseeing tours to abandoned mines, to Ghosttown Mc Carthy and the former copper mining town of Kennecott are on the program. You will drive ATVs, listen to exciting lectures and who knows, maybe a bear or moose will cross our path. Of course always in harmony with nature and safety. Because the wilderness of Alaska also has its risks. In order to bring everyone back safe and sound, we rely on small groups (max 4 guests), daily instructions and absolute safety when it comes to the airplanes.

Far away from civilization, a wilderness lodge has been developed here during the past years, directly on a grass strip. It is the starting point for excursions and a place to sleep and stay for our guests. During your stay you will reside in a comfortable two-person yurt. And since we know that so much adventure can make you very tired and hungry, our cooks will spoil you daily with a rich breakfast and a three-course menu for dinner. Lunch will be taken on our adventures.

This is where we eat together every day and toast with a beer to the experience. It is quite possible that one of the other guests from the surrounding areas may visits us with his plane. If you want to relax after a long day, the best place to do so is in the sauna. There are sanitary facilities as well as warm water and electricity. With us you enjoy the best of two worlds.
